Have you ever wanted to try to make your own beer?

MALT, HOPS, YEAST, and WATER - the four main ingredients to make beer and yet it is the art of the process that makes a great beer.

We are excited to have local home brewer, Jake Easter will be on hand with his brew kit set-up. Now is your chance to ask the questions and dip your toes into the world of home brewing.

What goes great with beer? Don't forget that Thomasville Farmers Market has pasture-raised beef, chicken, pork, and sausage.

Church Bake Sale: Memorial UMC will be back and rumor has it that there will be persimmon pudding

Youth Farmer Day

Youth Farmer Day

The farmers market provides a safe space for entrepreneurs to showcase their business ideas. In addition to our usual artisans and crafts this Saturday, we will be celebrating our youth farmers.

Did you know we have several young farmers who started their farm business by selling at the Thomasville Farmers Market?
We are so lucky to have our younger farmers such as H & A Farms, Hayworth Farms, Rierson Farms and Klymer Ridge Farms start their businesses here at Thomasville Farmers Market.

According to the 2022 Census of Agriculture, the average age of US farmer is 58.1, 0.6 years older than in the 2017 Census and 9.4 years older than in the 1945 Census. We need more farmers and we are so happy to see younger faces becoming involved in agriculture.

Your support helps us to make our local food economy stronger.
Come on out to support our young farmers.

SPECIAL FUNDRAISER: We will have Future Farmers of America (East Davidson High School) students who will be hosting a fundraising bake sale for their agriculture program in high school.

National Farmers Market Week

National Farmers Market Week

Farmers Markets are an integral part of the local food economy in every community they are located in.

This year, National Farmers Market Week begins August 4 to 10 -- find a farmers market, support it by buying local produce.

Farmers markets are abundant sources of food, connection and resilience in our communities, but they don’t just happen on their own. Behind the scenes of every successful farmers market is a dedicated person or team working to make the market thrive.

Farmers market operators are experts who need community and
financial support to run their markets and resources specifically designed for their needs.

Come on out to celebrate National Farmers Market Week with us!
